Location: Hybrid in Warszawa (Poland), 2–3 days in the office per week

What you will do

• Define and share long-term technical direction for the wealthTech platform.
• Lead large projects end-to-end ensuring high quality and efficiency.
• Make key architectural and technical decisions impacting multiple teams.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across codebases and infrastructures.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to identify technical and design issues.
• Mentor engineers by teaching problem-solving approaches and collaborate with managers and product leaders as technical advisor.

Requirements

• Quickly understand and fix issues in unfamiliar codebases.
• Experience troubleshooting bugs and performance in JVM environments and relational databases.
• Diagnose issues in unfamiliar infrastructures, including on-premises systems like banks.
• Strong technical judgment for risks and opportunities in designs.
• Deep knowledge of software engineering, system design, and distributed systems.
• Clear communication of complex issues to diverse audiences and experience mentoring teams.

Nice to have

• Experience leading large technical initiatives across teams.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad, Consul, Kong, Istio, Prometheus, Jaeger, Grafana.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Flexibility for occasional overtime on critical issues.
