Ils Practitioner (Defence)

TL;DR

ILS Practitioner (Defence): Responsible for developing Life Cycle Cost (LCC) models and conducting Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) within the System Delivery Group ILS Team with an accent on identifying and analysing LCC trends and cost drivers. Focus on critically assessing operational data, trends, and changes for financial impacts.

Location: Adelaide, Australia. Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office will be considered.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver Life Cycle Cost modelling and analysis in support of program outcomes and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain asset LCC models in support of engineering change decisions.
• Identify and analyse LCC trends and cost drivers.
• Critically assess operational data, trends, and changes for financial impacts.
• Collect, normalise, manipulate and analyse financial, operational, technical and programmatic data.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent on the job experience.
• Experience in Defence industry and its logistics practices and standards.
• Experience in LCC modelling and analysis and Systems Engineering.
• Experience in the application of relevant military and commercial logistics standards.
• Understanding of the development and the inter-relation between the various ILS elements and Support System Constituent Capabilities (SSCC).
• Experience with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT) or similar.
• As a defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.
