Chemical Mixing Operator

Location: Onsite in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. 12-hr Night Shift (6pm-6:30am, 2-2-3 schedule).

Salary: $24.50 per hour + $1.00 shift differential

What you will do

• Prepare raw materials and packaging, transport to production areas, and report deviations.
• Operate processing equipment according to instructions and maintain desired run rates.
• Perform initial product testing and release to ensure specifications are met.
• Check and apply labels correctly, package final products per quality standards.
• Maintain housekeeping and comply with EHS rules and quality procedures.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by Production Manager/Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience in industrial environment
• Knowledge of MS Office and ability to read work orders, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
• Availability for shift work, including nights
• Physical ability to stand long periods, lift up to 55 lbs (100 lbs with assistance), and work in chemical environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with mixing, reading batch tickets, and handling raw materials.
• Understanding of basic English.
