Information System Specialist (AI Architect): Provides technical leadership for the design, governance, and delivery of scalable digital solutions across hirify.global’s Guided Buy and Coupa ecosystem with an accent on end-to-end solution architecture, integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities. Focus on designing AI agents, copilots, automation solutions, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, security, and Responsible AI principles.

Location: Peoria, IL or Irving, TX, onsite five days a week. Visa sponsorship not available.

What you will do

• Serve as end-to-end solution architect for Guided Buy and Coupa platforms, ensuring cohesive design across requisitioning, sourcing, purchasing, invoicing, and downstream systems.
• Design and govern integrations with ERP, finance, supplier systems, middleware, data platforms, and reporting tools using APIs and event-based patterns.
• Act as AI Architect, embedding AI capabilities including agents, copilots, and automation into procurement platforms for improved efficiency and insights.
• Establish AI governance, perform code reviews, and ensure alignment with Responsible AI principles, security, and SOX compliance.
• Partner with agile teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs, guide implementations, and resolve cross-system issues.
• Mentor engineers on architecture principles and lead architecture review boards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; 6-8+ years experience delivering enterprise-scale applications with exposure to procurement, ERP, or financial systems.
• Proven enterprise and solution architecture skills for complex integrated ecosystems across cloud and on-prem.
• Hands-on experience with Guided Buy, Coupa, or similar Source-to-Pay platforms; strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, ETL, event-driven architectures, ERP integrations.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, LLMs, AI agents, and automation patterns for enterprise workflows.
• Experience in agile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint execution; technical troubleshooting and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience designing or governing AI agents, copilots, or AI-enabled enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of Responsible AI principles, model governance, and ethical AI practices.
• Coupa administration, configuration, or large-scale deployment experience.
• Cloud platforms, data environments, and reporting tools in enterprise ecosystems.
