What you will do

• Build and maintain tools for developing and testing Java services and system packages on the JVM.
• Enrich Java developer experience with debugging, profiling, and code optimization utilities.
• Collaborate with team members and engineers across the company to design elegant systems.
• Create and maintain standards and libraries for robust service communication.
• Articulate technical vision and execute it.
• Learn from and work closely with experienced engineers, sharing skills.

Requirements

• Located in the Republic of Ireland
• Highly proficient in Java, Scala and/or Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining tools and libraries.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders on high-impact projects.
• Demonstrated design, build, and rollout of productivity tools across medium to large organizations.
• Great understanding of Linux, databases, service-oriented architecture, and Maven/Gradle.
• Experience with CI/CD principles and challenges of scalability, reliability, performance.
