What you will do

• Provide architecture consulting, reviews, and suggestions for cloud solutions and governance.
• Create architecture artifacts and document cloud deployment architectures.
• Assist application teams with risk assessments, service vetting, and resolving complex issues.
• Develop new solutions, perform POCs, and drive cost optimizations.
• Design implementation roadmaps for DR, IaaS, PaaS environments on Azure.
• Evaluate migration costs, VM sizing, VPN/ExpressRoute options, and Site Recovery.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of JSON templates, Visual Studio, and PowerShell scripting.
• Administration and troubleshooting of Azure Windows servers and Linux (Chef, Puppet a plus).
• Knowledge of Azure PaaS resources: SQL, Web Apps, Application Gateway, CDN, AD authentication.
• Design Azure infrastructure: Virtual Networks, site-to-site, migration strategies.
• Analyze as-is infrastructure, design to-be solutions, develop technology roadmaps.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask and manage RFPs.
