Location: Hybrid in London, United Kingdom (2 days onsite per week encouraged at company location)

What you will do

• Design and create looks for computer-generated objects and scenes
• Collaborate with Lighting and CG Supervisors to solve look development challenges
• Build efficient shader setups to optimise render farm usage
• Maintain standard material libraries using shading templates for consistency
• Implement complex custom shading networks for hero assets

Requirements

• Experience creating hero assets and props in Look Development
• Demonstrable lighting and rendering experience in VFX
• Knowledge of real-world materials and physically based rendering/shader models
• Proficiency in asset optimisation and geometry formatting (Primvars)
• Knowledge of Katana essential; Houdini and Maya beneficial
• Excellent knowledge of Renderman or unbiased renderers; understanding of VFX pipeline
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to prioritise tasks and estimate time
