TL;DR

Junior Buyer (Home): Build product ranges for hirify.global UK home category to meet sales, margin, and stock targets with an accent on sourcing unique products, negotiating costs, and developing brand strategies. Focus on evaluating vendors, implementing pricing strategies, and managing inventory through OTB processes.

Hybrid: onsite 2 days a week at Chiswick Park, West London, UK

What you will do

• Source positioned and unique product portfolio aligned with brand strategy, target market, and sales goals.
• Negotiate optimal cost prices and trade conditions for your product category.
• Evaluate vendor portfolio based on market conditions; visit trade fairs and vendors regularly.
• Develop short- and long-term product/brand strategies in alignment with the department.
• Implement pricing strategy: set initial prices and margins using market insights.
• Curate products for omni-channel and campaigns; collaborate with planning on inventory management.

Requirements

• Background as Assistant Buyer or Junior Buyer.
• Passion and experience in homeware.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
