What you will do

• Act as first point of contact for customers via phone, chat, email, and screen-sharing to resolve software issues.
• Master financial modules like invoicing, accounts receivable, job costing, and provide expert guidance.
• Troubleshoot accounting integrations with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and similar platforms.
• Guide on best practices for chart of accounts, financial reporting, and month-end closing.
• Prevent and de-escalate issues using support tools and in-depth testing for complex cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent in technical support/accounting.
• Efficient problem-solver with strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent empathy, patience, and ability to simplify complex financial/technical concepts.
• Thrive in feedback-oriented, fast-changing environment with strong communication.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, accrual/cash, GL, P&L, balance sheets).
• Comfortable working remotely at a desk 6-8 hours.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel for data analysis.
• Strong math/analytical skills and home services industry knowledge.
