Operations Engineer III (Postgres)

What you will do

• Operate and maintain 24/7 high-availability Postgres data platforms
• Contribute to deployments, automation, and lifecycle management
• Support incident, change, and risk management processes
• Build and improve observability, monitoring, and performance tooling
• Design reusable automation and tooling for multiple teams
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture on platform improvements
• Participate in on-call and standby rotations

Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Strong experience as Operations Engineer in complex environments
• Hands-on Postgres DBA experience (performance, monitoring, optimization)
• Experience with Linux and scripting (Bash/Python)
• Experience with Docker and Ansible
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), Git workflows (GitHub, Maven)
• Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Experience in financial/corporate agile environments and high-availability platforms
• Comfortable with hybrid setup and on-site in Leeuwarden
