What you will do

• Operate in a hybrid systems engineering and software development capacity to manage global infrastructure and colocation footprints.
• Architect, build, and maintain streaming monitoring tooling and high-performance packet analysis systems.
• Design configuration management and automation frameworks to optimize system reliability and efficiency.
• Develop alerting and observability solutions tailored to team and business-critical requirements.
• Conduct deep-dive debugging sessions for low-level performance issues in complex software stacks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Python and Go.
• Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of streaming systems architecture, design, and message queues such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Working knowledge of Rust and C/C++.
• Experience with big data or columnar data stores and time-series databases.
• Proven ability to manage application lifecycles using CI/CD and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust.
• Prior exposure to Arista or Cisco hardware.
• Routing protocol and network design knowledge.
