Medior DevOps Software Engineer (FlyForward): Drive the development and stability of DevOps solutions within Financial Economic Crime Technology with an accent on cloud and on-premise infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform security. Focus on designing robust solutions supporting multiple squads, optimizing environments, and integrating software for fraud detection and customer due diligence processes.
Location: Hybrid Utrecht (NL)
Salary: €4,024 - €5,747 gross monthly (scale 08, 36-hour week)

What you will do
- Design and implement robust DevOps solutions enabling multiple engineering squads across Financial Economic Crime Technology.
- Maintain and improve platform stability and security by monitoring, updating, and optimizing cloud and on-premise environments.
- Develop and integrate software solutions for process orchestration, connecting systems and infrastructure.
- Set up new infrastructure components in cloud and on-premise environments.
- Improve continuous integration and delivery pipelines for complex applications.
- Support and maintain Python-based APIs within critical processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and DevOps tooling.
- Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Azure Cloud, AWS, IaC (Terraform), Linux & Bash, Git, AKS/EKS (Kubernetes), and Python.
- Willingness to participate in 24/7 support.
- Proactive, hands-on mentality with focus on solutions and adaptability.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansible, Camunda, QA, Networking, Data processing (Oracle, SQL, Postgres), Databricks.
