Engineer (Gamedev)

TL;DR

Engineer (PlayStation SDK): Creating and improving tools used by game developers worldwide for content management, firmware updates, game code execution, remote configuration, logging capture, console viewing, and distributed resource management with an accent on feature design and application development. Focus on analyzing customer requirements, debugging issues, performance tuning, and collaborating in an agile environment.

Attend periodic in-person workshops or team events (with the possibility of travel)

What you will do

• Analyze customer requirements to produce feature and application designs
• Provide estimates, design, develop, and deliver work to schedule
• Investigate, debug, and resolve issues with existing and new code features
• Participate in requirement and architectural discussions, collaborate with other teams in an agile environment
• Attend periodic in-person workshops or team events (with the possibility of travel)

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years experience programming in a high-level language, preference for C# or C++
• Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance tuning skills

Nice to have

• Experience with UI frameworks and technologies including .NET, Avalonia, WPF, and/or MFC
• Skilled in using Git, TeamCity, or similar CI/CD workflows
• Knowledge of dynamic scripting languages (e.g., Python)
