Consulting services provider supporting the European Space Agency (ESA) Outreach Team in Cologne.

What you will do

• Support ESA Astronauts' presence at live, in-person, and online events.
• Provide editorial support for communication materials including articles, talking points, storyboards, and video scripts.
• Manage editorial support and community development for individual astronaut social media accounts.
• Develop Communication Plans for Italian nationality ESA astronauts.
• Coordinate public appearance requests using ESA standards and PAROS system.
• Update editorial and event calendars, monitor campaign effectiveness, and coordinate stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Outreach, or related discipline
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience
• Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and office automation tools
• Ability to handle high workloads, prioritize actions, and work autonomously
• Team spirit, flexibility, rigor, and reliability

Nice to have

• Good knowledge of Italian media landscape
• Familiarity with ESA working environment
• Knowledge of German or another official ESA language
