Salary: £120000 - £130000 per annum

What you will do

• Define and execute Data & AI strategy aligned to business objectives, identifying high-impact opportunities for growth and efficiency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of 10-15 data professionals, managing budget and fostering a culture of experimentation and responsible AI.
• Oversee AI/ML model design, development, deployment, and operationalisation, including governance forums for ethics and compliance.
• Drive scalable reporting, analytics, and insight-driven decision-making at executive levels.
• Lead transition to modern data platforms, secure pipelines, and robust infrastructure.
• Implement data governance frameworks and build relationships with senior stakeholders to promote self-service data and AI communities.

Requirements

• Experienced senior data leader with strategic vision and hands-on execution in Data & AI transformation.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML, advanced analytics, data engineering, governance, and platforms.
• Proven ability to lead teams of 10+ professionals and manage budgets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills to translate business challenges into AI solutions.
• Based in or able to work hybrid in Ipswich, UK; no visa sponsorship.
