Salary: $165,500 - $236,600 USD

What you will do

• Establish safety as core priority and drive operational excellence across facilities through audits, KPI tracking, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Deliver P&L results aligned to budget via planning waste mix, routing, and proforma execution.
• Optimize facility production, equipment availability, and reliability; coordinate corrective actions for deficiencies.
• Coach facility leaders on safety, P&L management, and execution of planned/unplanned events.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, commercial teams on asset performance, growth, and capital planning.
• Develop talent, succession plans, and promote Lean management, process improvements, and community engagement.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years progressive operations management experience, including 5+ years supervisory/people leadership.
• Experience leading multiple operational sites, O&M execution, safety leadership, and P&L ownership.
• End-to-end knowledge of waste handling, material processing, water treatment, boiler/turbine operations, metals recovery, ash handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; strong business/financial acumen.
• Ability to drive process safety, worker safety, environmental compliance cultures.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree, Lean/continuous improvement certification.
• Understanding of power market dynamics and plant operations.
• Experience with regulators, permitting agencies, community stakeholders.
