Engine Programmer

TL;DR

What you will do

• Develop all aspects of the game engine, including tools and gameplay systems.
• Write performant, robust, and maintainable code.
• Debug, profile, and optimize code to meet quality and performance targets.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor team members and suggest process improvements.
• Collaborate on engine design and production.

Requirements

• Professional level of written and spoken English
• Proficiency in C++ with track record of contributions to shipped games
• Experience with data-driven development
• Experience with CPU and GPU profiling tools
• Strong multithreading skills
• Knowledge of modern hardware
• Open-minded, collaborative, and passionate about great games

Nice to have

• Experience in animation-related systems
• Bachelor's/Master's in computer science or software engineering
• Modern graphics APIs (Vulkan, D3D12, GNM)
• Modern console development (PS4/5, Xbox, Switch)
• SIMD programming
• Low-level assembly (x86/ARM/DXBC/Spir-V)
• Networking/multiplayer experience
