Senior AI Transformation Consultant

TL;DR

Senior AI Transformation Consultant (AI): Help organisations get AI-ready, discover value-creating use cases, and scale AI into production with an accent on organisational design, strategy, and responsible adoption. Focus on assessing maturity, designing AI Centres of Excellence, facilitating workshops, scoping pilots, and guiding production rollouts.

Location: Operate from studios in Ghent, Antwerp or Leuven, Belgium; prolonged on-site embedded assignments at client locations across Belgium and occasionally beyond. This role isn't remote-first; comfortable with real time in studios and at clients.

Independent European digital product studio with 200 people across three countries, delivering strategies, products, platforms, and AI transformations for enterprises and governments in healthcare, utilities, retail, finance.

What you will do

• Assess organisational AI maturity and design AI Centres of Excellence with governance, tooling, and metrics.
• Facilitate workshops to prioritise AI use cases, create growth maps, strategies, and roadmaps balancing quick wins and scale.
• Scope, plan, and guide AI pilots to production, defining KPIs and evaluation frameworks.
• Embed privacy, security, compliance, and human-first principles; align with EU AI Act.
• Contribute to frameworks, support sales, mentor juniors, and share knowledge via talks.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience, 3+ in consulting/digital strategy/transformation for enterprise/public-sector clients.
• Comfortable with prolonged on-site client engagements across Belgium; thrive building relationships on-site.
• Solid grasp of AI/ML concepts for credible discussions; partner with engineering/data teams.
• Experience leading organisational change, capability mapping, operating models, or data governance.
• Familiar with AI landscape: foundation models, agents, orchestration, buy-vs-build.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong communication/presentation skills. French a plus.
