Data Privacy Specialist (m/f/d)

TL;DR

Data Privacy Specialist (GDPR/AI): Ensure GDPR compliance and AI Governance across the organization with an accent on collaboration with Sales, Product, and IT teams. Focus on drafting policies, supporting customer RfPs and negotiations, conducting trainings, and analyzing incidents.

What you will do

• Ensure compliance with GDPR, EU AI Act, and other data protection laws.
• Act as primary contact for data privacy and AI matters with employees, customers, partners, and authorities.
• Support Sales in customer meetings, RfPs, and contract negotiations on compliance topics.
• Draft and maintain privacy and AI compliance policies and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to embed data protection and AI governance in workflows and product features.
• Conduct training sessions and support audits and incident analysis.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Law or similar.
• Solid GDPR understanding and hands-on compliance experience; willingness to learn legal and technical aspects.
• Basic knowledge of contract drafting and law interpretation.
• Interest in AI governance and advanced use of AI tools.
• Technical affinity, ideally with SaaS/IaaS experience.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.

Nice to have

• Certification in data protection (CIPP/E, EU-DSGVO, AI Officer).
