TL;DR

Customer Support Everyday Banking: Support customers with everyday banking through inbound calls, guiding them via the banking app and resolving day-to-day and complex queries. Focus on listening carefully, responding clearly, and progressing through skill levels to handle advanced enquiries.

Location: Birmingham, Colmore Row (Hybrid working available after six-week onsite training; shift pattern 8am-10am start, 4pm-6pm end, max five out of seven days including 37.5% weekends)

Salary: £26,200 increasing to £26,950 after 6 months, up to £31,450 at highest skill level

What you will do

  • Handle inbound customer calls for everyday banking support, including app guidance and query resolution.
  • Progress through the Skill Progression Framework to manage more complex enquiries and wider responsibilities.
  • Collaborate in a supportive team using modern tools and clear guidance.
  • Participate in a comprehensive six-week onsite training programme.

Requirements

  • No planned holidays or commitments during first two months after start date (Tuesday 09/06/26)
  • Comfortable with shift pattern: 5-day week, starts 8am-10am, ends 4pm-6pm, including up to three weekend days over four weeks
  • Strong customer service skills and passion for helping people.
  • Experience in banking, insurance, or financial services helpful but not essential; full training provided.
  • Openness to learning and growing within a structured development framework.
