Data Center Manager

TL;DR

Data Center Manager (AI Cloud): Manage team of technicians and oversee data center operations for high-performance AI infrastructure with an accent on availability, reliability, security, and infrastructure deployment. Focus on troubleshooting advanced systems, inventory management, capacity planning, and ensuring compliance with SLAs and standards.

Location: Onsite in Dallas, TX Data Center 5 days per week required

What you will do

• Lead team of data center technicians and oversee deployments and daily operations
• Maintain high availability, reliability, security, and uptime for assets and infrastructure
• Rack, label, cable, and configure new server, storage, and network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in advanced systems
• Manage parts inventory, document layouts in DCIM software, and create installation standards
• Assess capacity needs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure SLA compliance

Requirements

• 5+ years experience with critical infrastructure: power distribution, air flow, environmental monitoring, capacity planning, DCIM, structured cabling
• Basic Linux administration understanding
• Experience setting up networking appliances (Ethernet, InfiniBand) across data centers
• Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, action-oriented, willingness to learn and mentor

Nice to have

• Troubleshooting knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, SNMP, etc.)
• Experience in large-scale data centers, compliance (ISO/SOC), Supermicro & Nvidia hardware
• Previous data center team management
