What you will do

• Collaborate with team to make car behavior safe, smooth, and predictable, gracefully handling complex situations with social aspects like merging and negotiating narrow roads.
• Work with noisy, uncertain, and incomplete information from real-world driving scenarios.
• Frame open-ended problems into well-defined engineering tasks.
• Develop tools, algorithms, and evaluation mechanisms.
• Scale solutions to Google-sized data pipelines.
• Refine systems to run in real-time on autonomous vehicles.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, ML, Robotics, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years software engineering experience in C++ with efficient code
• Experience collaborating with different teams

Nice to have

• MS in Computer Science, ML, Robotics, or similar
• Experience solving motion planning or related robotics problems
• Experience solving or evaluating ML-based systems
