What you will do

• Design and build product features for remote development in self-hosted environments
• Create and improve open source projects integrating with VS Code, JetBrains, and other developer tools
• Champion best practices internally and for external contributors
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Customer Success, and partners like JetBrains on key integrations
• Document designs, implementations, and operations for team knowledge sharing
• Work with cutting-edge AI technologies for seamless developer experiences
• Rapidly iterate from prototype to implementation in an adaptive team

Requirements

• Currently based in the United States or Canada
• 3+ years full-stack experience in professional setting, with 1+ year in Go
• Proficiency in building distributed systems in Go
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional debugging, troubleshooting skills, and tenacity to drive solutions
• Self-motivated with creative and analytical mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and React
• Background in developer tooling, platform engineering, or IaC
• Curiosity about latest tech trends in developer tools
