What you will do

• Architect and optimize critical development infrastructure, including dev environments, observability, and CI/CD pipelines to maximize developer productivity.
• Build and maintain core service infrastructure, such as service mesh, deployment pipelines, and shared libraries.
• Develop cloud-agnostic tooling and cross-cloud networking to enable multi-region deployments across multiple providers.
• Design and implement scalable identity, authentication, and RBAC systems that form the backbone of identity management.
• Own the MCP proxy and token management to ensure reliability and enterprise trust for AI connectivity.
• Transform the Claude API into a cloud-native, managed product with enterprise-grade security and operational capabilities.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of practical full-stack engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience operating at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level.
• Technical expertise in modern frontend and backend development, specifically with React and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of leading the design and delivery of complex B2B or consumer-facing products.
• Experience driving cross-organizational alignment and establishing engineering standards and best practices.
• Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle to comply with the hybrid policy.

Nice to have

• Experience with ML/AI systems, LLM inference, or model serving pipelines.
• Background in designing billing, payments, or financial infrastructure at high transaction volumes.
• Deep knowledge of containerization and secure execution environments.
• Expertise in building identity and access management (SSO, RBAC) at enterprise scale.
• Experience with multi-cloud deployments and cross-region architectures.
