Senior Data Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (Fintech): Integrating new, bespoke, in-house wealth management software with a queue of new clients with an accent on CI/CD pipelines and the deployment process. Focus on reviewing and improving how code and products go to production.

Location: Central London (1 day a month). This is a UK based role and as such applicants based outside the UK can not be considered

Salary: £60000.00 - £80000.00 per annum

What you will do

• Be part of a high-quality Data Engineering team working with the latest tech.
• Integrate my client's new, bespoke, in-house wealth management software with a queue of new clients.
• Plan for V2, alongside contributing your own ideas for future functions and improvements.
• Focus on CI/CD pipelines and the deployment process, reviewing and improving how code and products go to production.
• Work with business stakeholders and business logic.

Requirements

• 6+ years commercial experience in Data Engineering.
• Very strong SQL skills.
• Spark SQL.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• PySpark.
• Azure experience including Azure SQL, Data Factory and Functions.
• Experience collaborating with Software and Test Engineers.
• Creating, documenting and maintaining database schemas.
