What you will do

• Oversee and work with moderators and admins for Paramount IP community channels across Reddit, Discord and Steam.
• Develop and execute community engagement strategies that drive player retention, advocacy, and organic growth.
• Create and publish content including updates, patch notes, AMAs, dev posts, and community spotlights.
• Monitor conversations, sentiment, and trends across platforms, providing actionable insights back to internal teams.
• Design and run community activations such as events, contests, and live Q&As.
• Identify and nurture community leaders, creators, and superfans.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience managing gaming communities, with direct ownership of Reddit, Discord, and/or Steam hubs.
• Deep understanding of platform-specific cultures and best practices.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone across brands and audiences.
• Ability to work independently and be an excellent collaborator with a passion for working across diverse groups to brainstorm creative solutions.
• Experience working closely with game developers or live service teams.
• Strong instincts for community sentiment, crisis management, and player empathy.

Nice to have

• Experience launching or managing communities for AAA or live service games.
• On-camera or live hosting experience for AMAs, streams, or community events.
• Background in content creation or social media strategy.
• Familiarity with Paramount franchises or similar entertainment brands.
