What you will do

• Lead the implementation, integration, and operational support of IBM MQ (MQ Series) middleware across mainframe and distributed environments.
• Ensure service stability, performance tuning, and high availability for middleware supporting critical business applications.
• Oversee incident management and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex integration and messaging issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and improve integration strategies and middleware architectures.
• Mentor junior team members, drive middleware best practices, and maintain documentation in compliance with enterprise standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe middleware support or integration roles, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Deep expertise in IBM MQ (MQ Series) and middleware integration across mainframe and distributed platforms.
• Proven track record of leading incident resolution, performance optimization, and integration projects.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.
• Excellent communication skills, including technical documentation and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior technical staff.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Intermediate English proficiency, required for technical documentation, communication with global teams, and incident reporting.
• Experience working in largescale, regulated, or enterprise environments.
• Relevant middleware or IBM certifications.
