Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Financial Analyst: Preparing reports using Oracle and Power BI and managing monthly balance sheet reviews with an accent on providing balance sheet historical data and variances for cashflow preparation. Focus on coordinating required SOX reporting, performing Blackline reconciliations, and managing changes to the chart of accounts.

Location: Hybrid position based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Consolidation in Newark NJ.

What you will do

• Perform control checks on monthly trial balance and research anomalies.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations accurately.
• Collaborate with external auditors responding to requests quarterly and at year-end.
• Provide support globally for processing and recording transactions in ledgers, assisting with monthly deliverables with a focus on accounting policy and local compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.
• Required 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in accounting and/or auditing.
• RCA /ACCA or candidate preferred.
• Ability to work independently, perform complex analysis and summarize data efficiently.
• Must possess project management skills and be able to meet designated deadlines.
• Requires data analysis and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
• Proficiency in Oracle (Fusion and FCCS) and Power BI reporting tools are desired.
