QA Director (Gamedev)

QA Director (Gamedev): Leading an ambitious Mobile and Console QA & Deployment program for Stumble Guys with an accent on strategic operational excellence and global team management. Focus on driving the transition to AI-native testing pipelines and ensuring high-quality releases across multiple platforms.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Barcelona (Spain) or Dundee (UK) hubs, working in a hybrid mode (3 days per week at the hub).

What you will do

• Lead and scale a comprehensive Mobile and Console QA & Deployment program across multiple disciplines.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of QA & Deployment Project Owners.
• Advocate for and drive the implementation of AI-powered testing tools and automation within QA pipelines.
• Establish consistency in team metrics, quality measurement, and operational assessment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership and external vendors to align QA strategies with product goals.
• Accountably ensure quality is integrated at every stage of the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a quality assurance professional.
• 6+ years of management experience leading teams through a full game cycle.
• English proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication required.
• Strong background in building and managing end-to-end validation organizations.
• Deep experience with External QA vendors and global distributed teams.
• Proven expertise in Mobile Freemium/F2P gaming environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Console and PC deployment and compliance.
• Knowledge of Localization (LQA) and build distribution processes.
