What you will do

• Design and build the greenfield hirify.global Drive desktop client for Linux.
• Integrate with Linux-specific system components and filesystem layers for secure synchronization.
• Contribute to the platform-agnostic SDK and CLI tools for cross-client functionality.
• Maintain build pipelines, packaging, and distribution across major Linux distributions like Debian and Fedora.
• Develop and manage automated and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Implement application telemetry to monitor performance and support debugging efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Linux desktop client software development (GUI and CLI).
• Solid background in code quality paradigms and full SDLC ownership.
• Expertise in DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and source control management using Git.
• Proven track record in open-source development, maintenance, and distribution across multiple Linux distros.
• Must be able to work onsite in London or Geneva.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Rust.
• Experience with GTK+ or Qt frameworks.
