Compensation: €4,728 – €6,433 per month

What you will do

• Deliver and adapt electronic instrumentation for cutting-edge quantum technology research.
• Identify and translate research requirements into electronics proposals, roadmaps, and definitions.
• Provide expert advice to researchers regarding measurement and instrumentation challenges.
• Coordinate and guide an autonomous engineering team through technical projects and assignments.
• Maintain and expand the catalogue of developed electronics for internal use.
• Teach electronics courses for researchers and supervise HBO-level internship students.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electronics or Physics with demonstrable electronics expertise.
• Proven leadership experience managing small technical teams.
• Broad background in analog and digital electronics, RF, microwave engineering, and signal filtering.
• Ability to plan and reason about high-level system architectures.
• Proactive attitude with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch proficiency is preferred or willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of quantum systems and related physics.
• Previous teaching or academic supervision experience.
