Cybersecurity Engineer Lead

Cybersecurity Engineer Lead (DoD): Provide cybersecurity guidance and compliance support for DoD information networks, including RMF documentation, ATO requests, and CND policy coordination with an accent on IAM Level III (DoD 8570.01 M) and RMF/Risk Management Framework execution. Focus on validating cybersecurity compliance, tracking cybersecurity requirements and actions, and coordinating certification/accreditation efforts for PM/POR systems.

What you will do

• Guide the AO and Information Assurance Program Manager (IAPM) to protect, detect, characterize, counter, and mitigate unauthorized activity and vulnerabilities on DoD networks and systems.
• Assist in developing and implementing cybersecurity programs, including recommendations for administrative policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain processes to identify and track cybersecurity requirements, manage cybersecurity actions, and document decisions and certification efforts.
• Validate cybersecurity compliance by reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Advise organizations on RMF documentation, Connection Approval Process (CAP), and ATO requests for system/network changes.
• Coordinate Computer Network Defense (CND) policies and oversee PM/POR cybersecurity compliance, including certification and accreditation coordination.

Requirements

• Secret clearance
• DoD 8570.01 M compliance for IAM Level III
• Minimum of three years of experience with RMF (Risk Management Framework)
• Seven years of DoD cyber experience supporting NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CPN-X (or other CENTCOM CX network environment)
• HS Diploma/GED
