What you will do

• Build and optimize products for a diverse range of nonprofit clients, from local shelters to large organizations.
• Develop responsive user interfaces and APIs to improve customer adoption and retention.
• Write high-quality, tested code for resilient backend systems and intuitive UIs.
• Collaborate with product, sales, and support teams to enhance internal tools and processes.
• Own technical problems end-to-end, balancing business impact with reliability and operability.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails, Python, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience as a generalist across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and data pipelines.
• Ability to deliver complex projects from ideation to completion in a fast-paced environment.
