Salary: $155,000 – $215,000

What you will do

• Define navigation system requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Select and source sensor solutions for navigation systems.
• Develop sensor models in simulation for system evaluation.
• Implement state estimation algorithms in flight software.
• Establish test methods to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Evaluate systems via simulation, hardware-in-loop, and flight testing.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person or otherwise permitted to access export-controlled technology.
• BS in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or similar.
• 3+ years of professional experience in navigation algorithm development.
• Technical expertise in Kalman filtering, GNSS, or inertial navigation.
• Professional experience with C/C++ flight software and Python.
• Must be willing to travel 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• MS in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.
• Experience with fault detection and exclusion (FDE) or GPS-denied navigation.
• Background in safety-critical software development.
• Experience with navigation system certification.
