What you will do

• Analyze complex financial data and lead projects to proactively contribute to Finance/Accounting unit targets.
• Manage and record accruals, deferrals, value adjustments, and complex transactions under local GAAP and IFRS.
• Drive process improvement, standardization, and automation of financial controls.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and maintain organized contractual archiving.
• Coordinate with support functions and act as the primary contact for auditors and consultants.
• Instruct and train new or existing employees.

Requirements

• Master's degree or similar qualification and status as a Qualified Accountant.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, ideally within the energy sector.
• Strong understanding of German GAAP, other local GAAPs, and IFRS accounting.
• Hands-on experience with complex accounting topics and SAP products.
• Ability to handle vast amounts of data and work to tight deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
