DevOps Infrastructure Engineer (Fintech)

Salary: $75,000 – $87,000 USD + bonus

What you will do

• Support daily operations of production infrastructure, resolving incidents and investigating alerts.
• Maintain patching cycles for Linux-based systems to ensure security and compliance.
• Automate provisioning and configuration tasks using Ansible playbooks.
• Manage cloud load balancers, WAFs, and other network infrastructure.
• Perform hardware upgrades and replacements at colocation facilities.
• Participate in incident reviews and post-mortems to identify root causes.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a Linux systems or DevOps role.
• Strong Linux fundamentals including server administration, shell scripting, and web server configuration.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Proficiency with Git, GitLab, and VS Code.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking and TLS/PKI concepts.
• Must have the legal right to be employed in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with load balancers (F5 BIG-IP) or WAF/DDoS platforms (Cloudflare, Akamai).
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or HashiCorp Vault.
