TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Mexico City, Mexico. Travel to local DCs required (up to 75%).

What you will do
- Manage 3PL relationships, P&L, and operational execution for Mexico DC operations.
- Optimize warehousing KPIs, handling costs, and customer satisfaction for B2B and D2C channels.
- Develop and execute capacity models for inbound/outbound operations and shipping strategies.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with 3PL teams and carriers to ensure scalability and continuous improvement.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with third-party providers to drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate with global leaders to share best practices and drive worldwide DC improvements.
Requirements
- Must be based in or be able to work in Mexico City, Mexico.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in retail distribution.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Distribution Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven track record of onboarding new 3PLs and standing up new distribution locations.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using KPIs to achieve strategic results.
- Functional knowledge of FTL/LTL and Mexico’s Small Parcel Network.
Nice to have
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a technical discipline.
- Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement practices.
- Knowledge of Food Grade and Hazardous Materials/Dangerous Goods regulations.
- Experience in procurement or private equity sponsored businesses.
