TL;DR

Silicon Performance Validation and Characterization Intern (Computer Architecture): Assist in Si performance analysis for network and AI workloads with an accent on performance modeling, architectural tradeoff analysis, and integration planning across power, memory, and IO subsystems. Salary: $89,200.00–$120,700.00 USD (annual range for US locations)

What you will do

• Assist in Si performance analysis for network and AI workloads.
• Learn and apply state-of-the-art analysis tools and techniques for emerging technologies.
• Support performance modeling and architectural tradeoff analysis.
• Contribute to integration planning across platform components, including power, memory, and analog subsystems.
• Collaborate with architects and design engineers to drive platform scalability, reliability, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Participate in hands-on projects that support continuous learning and exploration of future career paths.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and working on a Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ months of experience with computer architecture.
• 6+ months of experience in C/C++ programming and Python.
• 3+ months of experience with computer networking stacks and protocols.
• On-site presence required in the US (Arizona, Phoenix).

Nice to have

• 3+ months of experience with Linux and hirify.global processors-based platforms.
• 3+ months of experience with AI software.
• Experience with network software such as DPDK or VPP.
• Knowledge of hardware architecture fundamentals, power management, and system-level integration.
