What you will do

• Own and execute the end-to-end release process for major autonomy releases, incremental updates, and safety patches.
• Manage branching strategies, versioning, and drive go/no-go decisions for release readiness.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues involving software/hardware interactions and distributed systems behavior.
• Enforce a stage-gated release framework from feature completion through to release candidates.
• Integrate validation signals from simulation corpus results, regression testing, and HIL/on-road vehicle testing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Autonomy, Infrastructure, and Fleet Ops teams to improve system robustness.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 7+ years of experience in autonomous systems, release engineering, and DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python and scripting, with working knowledge of C/C++.
• Proven ability to debug complex system-level issues across the full product lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills across various technical domains.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience in autonomous robotic systems.
• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Robotics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with safety-critical standards such as ISO 26262 or SOTIF.
• Background in startup environments with a high emphasis on delivery.
• Familiarity with simulation frameworks and HIL/vehicle testing.
