A company specializing in safely rewriting critical business applications using their Generative AI platform, Imogen.

What you will do

• Develop technology for legacy system transformation within small cross-functional XP teams.
• Pair program with engineers and collaborate with product managers and designers.
• Apply XP engineering practices including TDD, refactoring, and continuous integration/delivery.
• Operate and support production applications using a DevSecOps model.
• Conduct technical discovery for existing customer legacy systems.
• Contribute to research in generative AI and data engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Must be comfortable with pair programming as the default mode of working.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
• Passion for generative AI and/or data engineering.

Nice to have

• 1 to 4 years of software engineering experience (internships, co-ops, or competitions).
• Comfortability as a fullstack developer with expertise in at least one modern language and framework.
• Exposure to XP practices such as TDD.
• Experience in both application development and research environments.
