What you will do

• Evaluate quantum computing architectures, devices, algorithms, and applications for utility and maturity.
• Develop and execute models and simulations at component, subsystem, and system levels.
• Identify and document design, development, and integration risks for commercial performers.
• Create and standardize government artifacts, Interface Control Documents (ICD), and system reviews.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicists and engineers to synthesize technical solutions.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for security clearance (SECRET access).
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, or Engineering (Master's or PhD strongly preferred).
• At least one year of professional experience in physics, mathematics, or computer engineering.
• Proficiency in Systems Engineering frameworks such as SysML and DoDAF.
• Experience with modeling and simulation tools, GPU/CPU optimization, and benchmarking methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and communicate complex abstract ideas to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of photonic or superconductor principles and integrated chips.
• Familiarity with quantum simulators like Qiskit, Cirq, or QuTiP.
• Expertise in Quantum Error Correction and fault-tolerant quantum algorithms.
• Experience with quantum resource estimation tools.
