What you will do

• Develop chassis, actuator, and safety system models using C++ and multi-domain modeling tools.
• Integrate vehicle dynamics models into the hirify.global Simulator and simulation workflows.
• Define and execute test campaigns to characterize and validate vehicle dynamics of hirify.global platforms.
• Perform sim-based analyses to support development from requirements definition through verification and validation.
• Collaborate with partner teams to apply vehicle dynamics simulation capabilities to various use cases.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering (ME, EE, CS, Robotics, Controls, Aerospace) or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in modeling and simulating vehicle dynamics.
• Strong knowledge of tire modeling (e.g., Magic Formula) and chassis dynamics (low- and high-fidelity multibody models).
• Deep understanding of vehicle safety systems including ABS, ESC, and traction control.
• Proficiency with commercial tools such as Simscape, Maplesim, CarMaker, Carsim, or Adams.
• 2+ years of experience implementing algorithms in C++ and performing data analysis in Python.

Nice to have

• Experience developing chassis control systems (ABS, ESC, traction control).
• 5+ years of experience developing production-quality C++ and Python code.
• Experience integrating models into broader simulation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Modelica and the Functional Mockup Interface (FMI) standard.
