TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (AdTech): Building and optimizing high-load video advertising platforms for a global omnichannel network with an accent on system performance, scalability, and distributed architecture. Focus on designing resilient backend services using Scala and Go to handle massive data throughput and complex near real-time auction resolution algorithms.
Location: Montpellier, France. Hybrid work model (2 days remote per week required).

What you will do
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to deploy experiments and features with high impact on global revenue.
- Design, develop, test, and monitor production code autonomously.
- Work with product teams to frame projects and ensure accountability for execution.
- Provide technical solutions that balance business needs with architectural integrity.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within a diverse global team.
- Research and propose new technologies to optimize existing engineering processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software engineering with multiple shipped projects.
- Strong programming skills with a focus on maintainability and performance.
- Familiarity with high-throughput, distributed systems and large-scale data processing.
- Analytical mindset to validate ideas through experimentation before full-scale development.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global environment.
- Proficiency in English is required for all communications.
Nice to have
- Experience with Scala, Node.js, or Go.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of BigQuery or MySQL database optimization.
