TL;DR

Location: Based in Montpellier, France (Hybrid role, 2 days remote per week).

What you will do

  • Design, build, and ship features for sophisticated backend systems primarily using Scala.
  • Collaborate with international engineering teams across France and Israel on complex AdTech challenges.
  • Champion software quality through robust testing, clean architecture, and best practices.
  • Contribute to full-stack needs using Node.js and React applications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement of the codebase.

Requirements

  • Experienced backend engineer with strong proficiency in JVM languages (Java, Kotlin, Scala).
  • Proven track record of designing and maintaining features in complex production environments.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Commitment to high-quality, well-tested code and continuous learning.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Montpellier.

Nice to have

  • Professional experience in the AdTech industry.
  • Frontend development experience with React.
