Senior QA Engineer (IoT)

Location: 100% remote; core hours from 10:00 to 18:00 CET, with some client meetings scheduled up to 20:00 CET.

Salary: 12,500–17,000 PLN net/month on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Perform compatibility testing across IoT devices, sensors, gateways, protocols, and platforms.
• Verify functional behavior covering data collection, storage, processing, real-time monitoring, control, and system integrations.
• Evaluate performance under different workloads, network conditions, and environmental factors.
• Conduct security testing of devices, communication protocols, data transmission, storage, access controls, and authentication mechanisms.
• Participate in requirements discussions and daily calls, estimate work, and provide feedback on inconsistencies and open issues.
• Mentor less experienced team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in mobile application testing.
• Good knowledge of software quality assurance and experience with test case management tools such as TestRail or Qase.
• Experience with Atlassian tools.
• English at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving skills, precision, curiosity, patience, self-reliance, responsibility, and effective time management.
• Ability to follow industry trends, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with a team.

Nice to have

• Experience testing projects involving physical devices, such as wearables.
• Knowledge of creating and maintaining automated tests.
• Experience with API testing, preferably using Postman, and database testing.
• Experience with web application testing and debugging proxy tools such as Charles or Proxyman.
• ISTQB Foundation or higher certification and experience in Agile or Scrum environments.
