TL;DR

IT Help Desk Team Leader (System Engineering): Leading the local IT help desk team while performing hands-on maintenance of servers, Cloud infrastructure, and network environments across Israel and Asia offices with an accent on operational excellence and end-user support. Focus on managing day-to-day IT services, driving strategic IT infrastructure projects, and implementing new technology solutions for a global team.

Location: Must be based in Netanya, Israel (Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office)

What you will do

  • Lead the Help Desk team while maintaining hands-on responsibility for servers, network, and desktop infrastructure.
  • Take ownership of all IT services and provide day-to-day operational support for employees in Israel and Asia.
  • Manage and configure network components including firewalls, switches, VLANs, and routing.
  • Lead strategic IT infrastructure projects from inception through to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify and implement new technology solutions.
  • Oversee procurement processes and manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant IT/Help Desk experience and 2-3 years in a team lead role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with both MAC and Windows environments.
  • Proficiency in networking (LAN/WAN, switching, routing, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls).
  • Demonstrable experience managing projects from start to finish.
  • Experience supporting Multi-OS platforms and maintaining work contracts with vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
