Salary: $127,000 – $249,000 USD

What you will do

• Partner with engineering teams to define SLOs and capacity plans for next-generation cloud storage services.
• Build for reliability, resilience, and self-healing within multi-tenant distributed storage systems.
• Automate infrastructure operations to avoid toil and enhance system agility.
• Configure key performance metrics to monitor and maintain service health.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support storage infrastructure.
• Optimize performance from the application level down to the kernel.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development and operating distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar language.
• Strong experience with stateful storage or database systems at scale.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience using and extending Kubernetes for application agility.
• Solid understanding of Linux internals and networking concepts.

• Experience leading major architectural shifts and large-scale data migrations.
• Expertise in managing infrastructure across multi-cloud environments.
• Skills in designing secure, multi-tenant runtime environments at scale.
