What you will do

• Provide professional technical support and resolve production tickets.
• Identify and automate inefficient or redundant pipeline tasks.
• Maintain and optimize studio workflows and pipeline processes.
• Participate in code reviews and perform regular maintenance and refactoring.
• Develop and maintain documentation for new and modified tools.
• Stay updated on new technologies to improve production efficiency.

Requirements

• Fluency with the Python programming language.
• Strong understanding of visual effects and/or animation pipelines.
• Proven experience writing pipeline tools and modifying workflows.
• Practical application of Design Patterns and SOLID programming principles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
• Experience with Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Zbrush, or other DCC applications.
• Knowledge of USD, Alembic, and REST-ful APIs.
• Familiarity with Shotgun, Deadline, Git, and Qt libraries.
• Additional programming skills in C++ or Java.
