Salary: $160,000 - $225,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate a distributed telemetry platform capable of processing and querying data at petabyte scale.
• Collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews with other engineers.
• Partner with satellite and rocket teams to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
• Take full end-to-end ownership of the complete software and hardware stack.
• Apply first principles thinking to solve complex business and technical problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or full stack development.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Engineering, Math, or Physics (or 7+ years of professional experience).
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. person) to conform to government export regulations.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed.

Nice to have

• Programming experience in C#, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience optimizing large-scale distributed systems for high-volume data.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of Linux, version control, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring systems.
