What you will do

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and strong financial controls.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Corporate Accountants through regular 1-on-1s and career planning.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual financial statement audits, performing internal controls for SOX compliance.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency through automation, AI, and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Financial Reporting teams to align on budgets, forecasts, and disclosure requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the accounting team across other finance functions.

Requirements

• CPA designation and B.Comm in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent).
• 3+ years of experience in a similar leadership role or public accounting (audit).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with complex technical accounting (e.g., leases, commission capitalization).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and a demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives.
• Fluency in English is required as the primary working language for this global company.

• Experience with NetSuite accounting systems.
